WSBL在今(11)日舉行季前會議，焦點議題選秀制度依舊無結論，來不及在明年1月7日開打的新球季實施，不過4隊已達成初步共識，包括各隊有5名保障名額，及前兩輪選秀保障薪資。
今日4隊在籃協舉行季前會議，選秀制度雖無正式定論，但都表示願意回去考慮。其實早在2007年SBL選秀制度正式上路之際，WSBL本打算跟進，但有部分球隊反對而作罷，拖了11年多的選秀終露出曙光。
目前WSBL選秀雛形，是各隊有5名保障名額，意指各隊從建教合作的幼隊挑選5名選手可不經選秀。同時第一輪選秀保障薪資，月薪4.5萬，國手資格可加到5萬，第二輪選秀，月薪4萬，但合約年數細節還未有結果。
此外，今年大批女籃好手前進中國WCBA發展，有球隊提出，將WSBL賽季改到每年3到5月，讓旅外球員可以兼打兩個聯盟。
